Choosing a Round Bathtub

A round bathtub works best where it can sit away from the walls, so the main choices come down to diameter, material and how the bath drains. Our full range of bathtub styles covers rectangular, oval and back to wall shapes for comparison.

• Size: most models sit between 1280mm and 1400mm across, such as the Ceto Como at 1280mm, the Seima Arko 130 and Lukka Paradiso at 1300mm, and the Fienza Shinto at 1350mm
• Material: acrylic suits most bathrooms, while the Fienza Shinto is cast solid surface with a matte white finish, and Pietra Bianca tubs are composite stone
• Overflow: models such as the Seima Arko 130, Lukka Paradiso and Fienza Shinto include an overflow, while the Ceto Como is non overflow
• Waste: the Lukka Paradiso includes a chrome waste and pipe and the Fienza Shinto includes a chrome pop up waste, while the Ceto Como and Seima Arko 130 suit a 40mm waste sold separately
• Finish: gloss white and matte white versions are offered on several models, including the Ceto Como, Lukka Paradiso and Seima Arko 130

Big Round Bathtub Options

Some models in this range go beyond 1400mm for a roomier soak. The Decina Orion measures 1570mm by 1570mm and holds 261 litres, and the Enflair Sunshine Groove comes in at 1500mm. The Fienza Shinto, while smaller at 1350mm, has a 385 litre capacity.

• Spa: the Decina Orion Dolce Vita spa bath adds 16 adjustable jets, a 700W heater and a 1100W heat boost pump with a remote control, and sits alongside our wider range of spa baths
• Stone: the Pietra Bianca Romeo comes in 1350mm and 1500mm, and can be made in any Dulux colour at extra cost
• Other shapes: a 1500mm bath in an oval or rectangular shape covers a similar length in a narrower footprint

Round Bath Compared with Other Shapes

A round bath needs clearance on all sides, so the shape suits larger bathrooms and open ensuites. An oval bathtub gives a similarly soft outline in a longer footprint, while a square bath offers a more structured look.

Round tubs sit within the wider range of freestanding bath styles, and many suit the clean lines of a modern bath design. Custom package quotes bundle the bath, tapware and waste together, with trade and commercial pricing available.
