Choosing an 1800 Bath

At this length, the main choices come down to material, installation type and whether the tub includes an overflow. Our full range of bathtub sizes sits alongside this collection for comparison.

• Solid surface: Turner Hastings Camden and Kirkham TitanCast baths, offered in gloss white, satin silk white and pastel tones such as Alice Blue, Frosty Mint and Soft Peach, plus the Lukka Waverton in matte black or matte white
• Composite stone: Pietra Bianca freestanding stone tubs such as the Onda, Rome and Nice, made with custom colour options
• Concrete: the Verotti Soho in a handmade concrete with a raw natural matte grey finish, holding 273 litres at 1800mm
• Enamel steel: the Kaldewei Classic Duo, made in Germany, with two identical backrests and a centrally positioned waste for shared bathing
• Acrylic: freestanding tubs from Broadway, Ceto, Enflair and Lukka, including the Lukka Voga and the Enflair Wave in matte white or matte black

Freestanding, Built In and Spa Options

Most 1800mm bath models in this collection are freestanding, though built in and spa versions are also available for those who want the tub set into a hob or surround.

• Freestanding: the largest group, from rectangular designs such as the Turner Hastings Camden to traditional styles like the Turner Hastings Kirkham with ball feet and the Broadway Antique Clawfoot at 1820mm
• Built in: the Broadway Catolina and Isabella built in baths come in 1800mm alongside smaller sizes
• Spa: Broadway spa baths such as the Quadrato with 22 jets, the Castilla with 15 jets and the FS21 freestanding spa with 12 jets, plus the Decina Duo Inset Dolce Vita at 1850mm with 24 jets

1800mm Bath Sizes Compared

This length generally needs a longer wall or open floor area than standard family tubs. A 1700mm bath or 1600 bathtub suits a slightly shorter space, while a 1900mm bath or 2000mm bath offers extra length for larger rooms.

Shape also affects how much floor the bath uses. A rectangular bathtub gives a squarer outline, and the wider range of freestanding baths covers oval and curved outlines. Custom package quotes bundle the bath, tapware and waste together, with trade and commercial pricing available.
