Shower Fittings in Matte Black

Black showers in this collection cover every part of the setup, from the outlet on the wall to the mixer that controls temperature. Our full range of showers includes the same styles in chrome, brushed and two tone finishes.

• Shower systems: twin setups that combine an overhead rain head with a handheld shower, such as the Hellycar Ideal Shower System with Rail, which pairs a 300mm rain head with a 3 function hand shower and a built-in diverter
• Rail showers: a handheld shower on an adjustable rail, such as the Ikon Seto with a 40mm solid rail, an integrated water inlet and a 6 function press design hand shower
• Shower arms: wall and ceiling arms such as the Phoenix Vivid ceiling arm in solid brass, offered in 150mm, 300mm or 450mm lengths, to suit a separate rainfall shower head
• Mixers: wall mixers to control flow and temperature, including the Hellycar Ideal, Ikon Hali and Ikon Otus Pin Handle in matte black

Comparing Black Shower Systems

The main differences between models come down to water rating, functions and warranty, all of which are listed on each product page.

• Water efficiency: the Ikon Seto rail shower carries a 4 star WELS rating at 7 litres per minute, while the Hellycar Ideal system is 3 star at 9 litres per minute and the Linkware Loui Twin Shower is 3 star at 8.5 litres per minute
• Simultaneous use: the Linkware Loui Twin Shower allows the overhead and hand shower to run at the same time, and includes an adjustable lower rail pillar to suit some retro fit applications
• Inlet position: the Hellycar Ideal system includes a concealed top water inlet that fits a standard plumbing outlet, while the Ikon Seto uses an inlet integrated into the rail
• Warranty: cover ranges from 1 year on the Hellycar Ideal system to 7 years on the Ikon Seto, with the Phoenix Vivid arm carrying 15 years on product or parts and 3 years on the finish

Completing a Black Shower

The look reads best when the surrounding fittings match. A black frame shower screen carries the same line through the glass, and the full range of shower screens sits alongside it for comparison. For a softer contrast, a gunmetal shower screen pairs well with matte black tapware.

Matte black also continues to the vanity and bath. Inspire tapware includes matching black basin mixers and bath spouts, and a black bathtub completes the look. Custom package quotes bundle the shower, tapware and bath together, with trade and commercial pricing available.
