BRAND WARRANTY

The warranty offered by Madu Living covers our products only when they are installed and used for their intended purpose. If there is any defect in installation or if the product is used inappropriately, this warranty becomes void.

Madu Living warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a specified Warranty Period, as outlined below:

  • 5 years from the date of purchase for indoor installations
  • 1 year from the date of purchase for outdoor installations
  • 2 year from the date of purchase for Ex floor Stock

Pop-down wastes

  • 2 year from the date of purchase

 

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, recovery costs of Madu Living products, installation costs of replacement products, or damage caused by external factors such as accidents, abuse, neglect, inappropriate cleaning materials, abrasion, corrosion, thermal shocks, flames, natural catastrophes, or negligence.

It also does not cover damage resulting from cleaning, maintenance, alterations, or installations not strictly in accordance with the information contained in the installation instructions, as well as gloss reduction, scratching, crazing, or staining of the finish over time due to water impurities or atmospheric conditions.

Madu Living will investigate and determine, at its discretion, whether the products and their components are defective. While products are in Madu Living's custody for investigation or repair, they will be at the customer's risk, and Madu Living will not be liable for any damage to the products.

During the Warranty Period, the customer's sole remedy for breach of warranties is the repair or replacement (as Madu Living may elect) of any defective products at Madu Living's expense. The replaced or repaired product(s) will be covered by the unexpired portion of the original Warranty Period.

Madu Living's warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the first end user of the products. Madu Living's liability under the agreement will be reduced by any contributory loss or damage caused by the customer's acts or omissions, including improper installation or inadequate maintenance following installation.

The customer acknowledges and agrees that, to the extent permitted by law, Madu Living has no liability for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage whatsoever, including loss of profits, opportunity, revenue, goodwill, bargain, production, contracts, business, or anticipated savings, corruption, or destruction of data.

Madu Living's total liability under any contract shall not exceed the total dollar amount of the Madu Living products purchased by the customer under each contract. All costs, including cartage and installation, must be paid by the customer.
